Stuck on login screen

[21-01-2025] Some users report getting stuck logging and hitting an indefinate loading screen.
This is caused by a legacy caching strategy and we are working hard to resolve this isue in the coming releases.

Manually clear stuck browser cache for Loncel Cloud

Clearing caches for iOS devices.

notes:

Please ensure you device is update to date.

these steps still apply even if you are using a different browser, in iOS caches for most browsers are shared

steps:

  1. Open the iOS "Settings" app

  2. Select “Safari”

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the "Safari" options and select "Advanced"

  4. Select "WebSite Data"

  5. Switch to edit mode (top right on the screen)

  6. Search for "loncel.com" using the top search bar

  7. Press the red icon to the left of the website name, a delete button will slide out

  8. Press delete

  9. Open safari and login again

Clearing caches on desktop browsers

steps:

  1. Open the Loncel Cloud web applications Login page

  2. Right click anywhere on the page and select the “Inspect”, A toolbar will appear

  3. Navigate to the Application tab

  4. Click the clear site data

  5. Hold down the Refresh icon in the browser header toolbar and choose the “clear cache and reload” option

  6. Close the bottom toolbar by clikcing the “x” button usually located top right hand corner of the toolbar

  7. Login again and please note the first login will take some take and the cache restores itself to an operational state
